The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bollog gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Bondarenko sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Bollog keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Bondarenko's efforts to push away.

Iwan Bondarenko seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Bondarenko looks to score with a jab to the body but Bollog is just out of range.

Bondarenko throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Bondarenko scores a flash knockdown with a right hook that drops Bollog to his hands and knees! The ref pushes Bondarenko away as he looks to land an illegal blow. Bollog got an extra few seconds to recover there, which could have made all the differences as he stumbles back to his feet. The referee looks into his eyes and decides to allow the bout to continue. Can he survive?!

and Bondarenko counters with a right, followed by a huge uppercut that sends Bollog crashing to the mat! Bollog is trying to use the ropes to get back to his feet but he's all over the place - the referee has seen enough and has stopped the fight! Bondarenko screams with a mixture of joy and relief, whilst celebrating with his cornermen.
