And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Az Tenochtitlan!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Wagner Zegers and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tenochtitlan uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Nichols.
Tenochtitlan scores with a jab. Nichols acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Nichols fakes the leg kick and cracks Tenochtitlan in the body.
Tenochtitlan throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Tenochtitlan misses with a looping right.
Scott Nichols seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nichols looks to throw the jab but Tenochtitlan is out of range.
Nichols throws a head kick but Tenochtitlan moves out of range.
Tenochtitlan keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Nichols fails to land with a series of punches.
Nichols looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Tenochtitlan lands a nice shot to the body.
Nichols throws an overhand right that lands on Tenochtitlan's shoulder, as Tenochtitlan tries to avoid the shot.
Nichols connects with a right hand. Tenochtitlan shakes it off.
Nichols sizes up Tenochtitlan with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Nichols tries to clinch but Tenochtitlan moves away
and Nichols takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Tenochtitlan throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Tenochtitlan looks to score with a jab to the body but Nichols is just out of range.
Nice jab there from Nichols.


Tenochtitlan is rocked!
Nichols throws a sloppy head kick and Tenochtitlan moves out of range easily.
Tenochtitlan is still on wobbly legs! Can Nichols finish him?
Tenochtitlan has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Nichols keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Tenochtitlan seems to have recovered his senses.
A telegraphed right hand from Nichols misses the target.
Nichols pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Tenochtitlan walks into a perfectly timed head kick by Nichols and drops face first to the floor! Tenochtitlan's eyes are wide open but he's not all there - he's just flopping around the mat like a drunk on rollerskates! The referee doesn't even start the count - he's called an end to the fight, with Tenochtitlan in no position to continue!
