Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Columbus Webster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vyacheslav Andreyev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vyacheslav Andreyev has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Columbus Webster!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Vyacheslav Andreyev!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Konstantin Menshow and Aleksandr Martynov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Andreyev gets caught napping as Webster dives in and scores a takedown. Andreyev manages to retain guard.

Andreyev throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Webster escapes and throws Andreyev's legs to the side, diving into side control!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Andreyev is trying to stand back up.

Columbus Webster dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.



Andreyev closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Webster to the mat! Webster manages to get full guard.

Webster has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Andreyev off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

It appears Webster was looking to counter with a kick there.

Webster feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Columbus Webster overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Webster lands a nice short elbow.

As Andreyev looks to move away, Webster throws a big counter combo bu Andreyev just gets out of the way.
Vyacheslav Andreyev seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Webster ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Webster no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Webster has his hands on Andreyev's head, controlling the position.

Andreyev is looking to control Webster's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Andreyev avoid being mounted?

Webster seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Webster working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Webster is nestled in close to Andreyev, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Webster closes the distance and clinches.

Andreyev has Webster pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Andreyev pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Webster tumbling to the mat - Andreyev dives into Webster's guard.
Webster will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Webster has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Webster just misses with a elbow thrown towards Andreyev's brow.

Webster cracks Andreyev with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

And that's the end of the fight!
Columbus Webster showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Webster, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
