The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Dillan Fox and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
DeVito throws a leg kick but Dama sees it coming and moves out of range.
Genki Dama seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
DeVito misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Dama.
Dama is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.

Dama throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.

Dama's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Dama has DeVito pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. DeVito manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

DeVito tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Dama's elbow.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

DeVito tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Dama manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

and DeVito counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
DeVito lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
That kick from Dama tenderised DeVito's leg. DeVito is trying to keep his angry face on.
DeVito misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Dama throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Dama avoids the head kick by DeVito.

Dama tries to counter with a clinch but DeVito shakes him off and moves away.
