A fine choice. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Faulkner tries a head kick but it misses.
Sylvanas throwing a counter right hand but Faulkner manages to avoid it.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Sylvanas, as that shot connected.
Sylvanas throws a series of punches but Faulkner moves out of range.

Sylvanas tries to keep at a distance but Faulkner has taken the fight into the clinch.
Faulkner is trying to break the clinch but Sylvanas has him pressed against the cage.
Sylvanas scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Faulkner is trying to push Sylvanas away but Sylvanas has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Sylvanas lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Sylvanas manages to break the clinch.
Sylvanas scores with a jab. Faulkner acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Sylvanas misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

so Faulkner counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Sylvanas has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Faulkner off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Faulkner needs to keep his hands up - Sylvanas had a free shot at his head there.

Sylvanas works over Faulkner's head and body with a nice combination.

Sylvanas closes the distance and clinches.
Faulkner is trying to pull guard but Sylvanas turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Faulkner takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Sylvanas lands a jab to Faulkner's midsection.

Sylvanas closes the distance and pushes Faulkner back into the cage.

Sylvanas breaks from the clinch.
Faulkner walks into a straight right hand from Sylvanas.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Faulkner gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Sylvanas gets through Faulkner's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Faulkner is still on wobbly legs! Can Sylvanas finish him?
Sylvanas pushes Faulkner against the cage. Sylvanas is working some dirty boxing. Sylvanas pushes off with a quick right hook! Faulkner goes down! Faulkner tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Sylvanas moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
