Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kory Holman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Hershey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hershey has chosen Underwear as his entrance music. This should be fireworks!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hershey changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Holman looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Hershey tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Hershey has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Holman might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Hershey tries for a kimura but Holman is defending well.
Hershey has knee on belly and moves into mount.
Holman is controlling an arm, preventing Hershey from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.
Hershey can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Holman is looking to escape.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hershey wants to finish this one by submission but Holman is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Hershey.

Hershey goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Holman is on top in guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Hershey is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Holman is aware though and is defending well.
Holman knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hershey on the ground.

Hershey wants to sweep but no luck.
Holman wants to stand but Hershey has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Holman is sitting in close to Hershey's body. Hershey has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Holman is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Holman is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Hershey.
