Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Mauricio Rocha and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Herman fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Hunter, pushing him back against the cage.
Hunter breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Herman misses with a head kick.

Herman misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Hunter drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Herman is on top in guard.
Herman wants to control from the top but Hunter keeps moving.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hunter stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Herman swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Herman had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Hunter defends it easily.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Herman throws out a powerful jab.
Lane Herman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Hunter drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Herman pulls Hunter in close to prevent any damage.
Herman working for a triangle but Hunter defends it easily.
Herman wants to get back to his feet but Hunter passes into half guard.
Herman might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Herman is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Hunter is working for a kimura but Herman is defending it quite comfortably.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Hunter looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Hunter is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Herman still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Herman has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!
Herman wants to stand but Hunter has his arm trapped.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Hunter tries to keep at a distance but Herman has taken the fight into the clinch.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Herman jumps guard and drags Hunter to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Hunter is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Herman is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Hunter can do to turn this around?

Hunter is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Herman knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
