The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fortenberry misses with a takedown attempt
and Jons decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Fortenberry's guard.
Fortenberry can't keep his opponent in guard - Jons advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Fortenberry is refusing to be controlled, as Jons sits in half guard.
Jons should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Fortenberry is in trouble now - Jons has advanced to mount!
Fortenberry is wriggling around trying to escape.
Fortenberry has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
Fortenberry is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jons can't control as he wanted to and Fortenberry manages to get the fight back to his half guard.
Jons is trying to control the action in half guard but Fortenberry is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Fortenberry is working on a guillotine. He's managed to get to full guard and he's really squeezing tight! Jons is tapping! Great win for Fortenberry!
