The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Roosa Järviläinen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Nieminen.
Pertti Nieminen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rowe dodges the punch combination from Nieminen.
Rowe takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Nieminen lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
It looks like Yong Rowe has been cut.
Rowe staying out of range there.
Rowe walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Nieminen checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nieminen throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Rowe stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Nieminen tries to land a front kick but Rowe steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Rowe has a takedown stuffed.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Nieminen swats away the attempt to clinch by Rowe.
Rowe dodges the punch combination from Nieminen.
Nieminen sizes up Rowe with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Nieminen cracks Rowe on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Rowe falls backwards against the cage. Nieminen follows up with more strikes that drop Rowe to his knees. Nieminen keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Rowe! This one is all over!
