Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pertti Silsa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Attila Hun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Silsa might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Candy by Robbie Williams. Hun has chosen Nirvana - The Man Who Sold The World as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Silsa moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

and Hun counters with a nice uppercut.
Hun drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

The fight stays on the outside here - Silsa looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
We've been informed that Hun has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Silsa uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Hun has time to react.

Silsa takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Silsa stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Hun wants to land a leg kick but Silsa is out of range.

Silsa throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Hun sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Nice defenses there by Hun.
Hun feints and then cracks Silsa's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Silsa down.
Silsa is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

Silsa will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Silsa rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hun moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Hun displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Silsa.

Silsa tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Hun manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Good leg kick by Hun there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Silsa has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Hun.

A little jabbing left from Hun on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

Silsa stalks Hun and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Hun's face. Hun staggers backwards, shaken.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Silsa throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Hun avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Hun scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Silsa doesn't seem bothered though.
Some bone on bone action there as Silsa checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Silsa shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hun as he jumps to the side.
Silsa jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Hun takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Hun seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Hun must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Hun wants to control from the top but Silsa keeps moving.

Silsa is looking for a triangle here but Hun uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Silsa is looking for a sweep.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Hun tries to score with some ground and pound. Silsa controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Hun tries to advance to mount but Silsa denies him.
Silsa tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Hun wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Attila Hun showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Hun is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Attila Hun is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Hun shoots in and gets a takedown into Silsa's guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Silsa has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hun can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Attila Hun comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Hun has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
