Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Aleksei Boyka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Morrow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Morrow comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Im Unforgiven kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Alex Morrow told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morrow misses with an attempted mid kick.
Morrow fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Boyka has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Morrow instigates a clinch.
Boyka is looking to take this one to the mat.
Boyka has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Morrow working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Morrow lands a body shot in the clinch.
Morrow tries to work over Boyka's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Morrow scores with an uppercut up the middle.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Boyka is trying to drag Morrow to the mat but Morrow just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Morrow struggles to land a body shot inside as Boyka controls his hands.

Morrow misses with a body punch.

Morrow misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Boyka's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Still in the clinch, Morrow scores with a nice short uppercut.
Boyka is working for takedown but Morrow is calmly controlling the position for now.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Aleksei Boyka. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Boyka has Morrow pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Morrow manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Morrow breaks the clinch.
Morrow tries to close the distance and clinch up but Boyka swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Morrow throws out a powerful jab.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Morrow looks to land a combination. Boyka sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Boyka is rocked!

It looks like Aleksei Boyka has been cut.

Morrow clinches up against the cage.
Oh Boyka is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Morrow pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Boyka is defended easily by Morrow.
Boyka seems to have got his legs back now.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Nice uppercut lands for Morrow. That snapped Boyka's head back.
Morrow lands a hook that stumbles Boyka back into the cage. Morrow follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Boyka to the canvas! Morrow pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Boyka has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
