Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mitchell Menchaka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sid Morrison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Morrison comes into a darkened arena with his song building. The Clocks kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 4 - 1, fighting out of New York, Mitchell Menchaka!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Sid Morrison!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Kenichi Hosakawa and Taro Takaoka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Menchaka throws a series of punches but Morrison avoids them all with ease.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Morrison has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Menchaka lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Morrison has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Menchaka is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Well Menchaka has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
