Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Boros Monet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian Blasted (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Monet's entrance music is Downstait - Open Your Eyes. A fine choice. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Brian Blasted!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Shigeki Sano and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blasted throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Blasted connects with the punch.
Blasted tries to clinch up
letting Monet counter with a right hand.
Monet thuds a left hand into Blasted's body.
Blasted throws a sloppy head kick
and Monet counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Monet fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Blasted on the side of the head.
It looks like Brian Blasted has been cut.
Blasted clinches.
Blasted is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Monet pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Monet looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Monet is trying to force a seperation but Blasted has the dominant position.

Monet tries to break free but Blasted pushes him back against the ropes.
Blasted stalling in the clinch but Monet improves position.

Blasted is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Monet is defending well for now.

and Monet counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Monet scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Monet comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
We've been told by Monet's head coaches at Lock and Roll Grappling Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
A lazy left from Monet finds it's target.

Blasted shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Monet pinned against the ropes. Monet gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Monet throws a big counter combination but Blasted scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Boros Monet has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brian Blasted.
Monet digs a good hook to Blasted's body.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Monet pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Monet will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Blasted tries to clinch there but Monet circles away.
Monet throws a sloppy head kick and Blasted moves out of range easily.
Blasted throws a fast counter high kick but Monet manages to duck under it in time.
Boros Monet is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Blasted throws a lazy body kick
and Monet counters with a left and a right that stings Blasted.
Blasted closes the distance looking to clinch
and Monet counters with a head kick that drops Blasted to the mat! Blasted scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
Blasted is rocked!
Good leg kick by Monet there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Blasted checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.

and Blasted takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Monet lands with an overhand left.
Monet lands a left and a right that send Blasted crashing to the mat, dazed. Monet thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Blasted is still on wobbly legs! Can Monet finish him?

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Blasted throws a poor cross that misses
and Monet counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Monet plants his feet and throws a 3 punch combo. Miss, miss, boom! The third punch, a big right hook, connects right on the temple and drops Blasted to the mat, unconscious! This fight is all over! Blasted just couldn't keep out of the way of the whole flurry of punches!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Boros Monet!
Boros Monet bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
