Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Pepe LePew (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Borislav Vovchanchyn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). LePew kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Smoke Serpent- . These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Borislav Vovchanchyn!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Elvis Blanc and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
LePew moves away from the strike by Vovchanchyn.
LePew attempts a counter takedown but Vovchanchyn avoids it well and moves away.
Vovchanchyn misses the jab.
Vovchanchyn lands a slapping body shot.
Vovchanchyn swings away with a leg kick that misses.
LePew changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Vovchanchyn looks to score with a jab to the body but LePew is just out of range.
LePew half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
LePew has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

It looks like Pepe LePew has been cut.

and LePew counters with a nice double leg into side control. Vovchanchyn won't be happy with that.
Vovchanchyn told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.

Vovchanchyn pushes LePew off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
LePew gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Vovchanchyn throws a good cross that connects.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Vovchanchyn, as that shot connected.

Oh LePew is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
An elbow from LePew crashes against the mat.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
LePew in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
LePew grinds an elbow into Vovchanchyn's temple.

Vovchanchyn manages to work his way to half guard, despite LePew's best efforts.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
The crowd cheers as Vovchanchyn lands an impressive looking overhand right. LePew doesn't seem phased though.

Vovchanchyn is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

LePew is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
LePew has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

LePew is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Vovchanchyn rolls with it to try and escape but LePew cranks on the arm and Vovchanchyn is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
