Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tupper throws a right and a left that both miss.
Tupper tries to clinch up but Durden circles away and keeps his distance.

Tupper moves into the clinch successfully.

Tupper pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

and Durden counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Tupper wriggles free and stands up.
Tupper misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Durden.
Tupper connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

Tupper tries to clinch up but Durden circles away and keeps his distance.

Durden blocks a head kick by Tupper.
And Durden tries to counter it with a takedown but Tupper pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Tupper throws a right hand that Durden ducks under and follows up with a left that Durden also avoids with ease.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Tupper - that will leave a mark!

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Tupper breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Tupper throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Tupper throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A little jabbing left from Durden on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

and Durden counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Durden drives through with a takedown into Tupper's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Durden wants to control from the top but Tupper keeps moving.
Durden stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Tupper swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Durden throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Tupper works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Tupper kicks Durden off and gets to his feet.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Durden shoots in but no luck this time.

Tupper wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Durden has him pressed against the cage.

Tupper stalks Durden and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Durden's face. Durden staggers backwards, shaken.

Durden is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Tupper is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Tupper is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Durden has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Durden is looking to take a break and control but Tupper is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Durden throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Tupper works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.

Tupper has one foot on Durden's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

Durden changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Tupper tries to avoid it but Durden manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Tupper to the ground. Tupper escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
