PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ben Frankham (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dul Semprul (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Frankham has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Dul Semprul told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown attempt by Semprul or perhaps it was just good defense by Frankham, which made it look bad.
Semprul tries to clinch up but Frankham circles away and keeps his distance.
Semprul goes for a double leg but Frankham avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Frankham continues to drive forward.
A big left from Frankham misses.
Frankham moves out of the way of the counter high kick fromSemprul.
Semprul avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Semprul takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Semprul doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Semprul takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Ben Frankham has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dul Semprul.

Frankham feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Semprul sprawling to the canvas! Semprul rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Frankham finish him?!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Frankham definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Frankham is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

Semprul is rocked!
Frankham throws an uppercut from hell that sends Semprul clean off his feet! He's out cold! Frankham stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
