Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Beast Boy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Simon Sussman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Beast Boy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Simon Sussman!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Richard Clark and Paul Tew.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sussman misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Boy throws a body shot but no joy.
Sussman feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Boy's calf.
Boy throws a body punch but Sussman moves out of range.
Sussman misses with a straight left.
Sussman cracks Boy with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Boy connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Boy throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Boy moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
A good leg kick by Boy.
Boy connects with a body shot.
Sussman lands a lovely overhand right.
Sussman throws a predictable looking body shot
and Boy counters with a nice low kick that buckles Sussman's knee momentarily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Sussman throws a jab when Boy was well out of range.
Boy half committed to a counter leg kick.
Sussman moves out of range as Boy throws a body kick.
Boy scoring well with a low kick there.
Sussman digs a good body shot into Boy's ribs.

Boy throws the left hand but Sussman avoids the punch easily.
Sussman throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Sussman on the wrong end of a nice jab.
A shot to the body from Sussman misses
and Boy cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

It looks like Simon Sussman has been cut.
Sussman wants to clinch.
As Sussman backs away, Boy returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Boy, as that shot connected.
Boy misses with a wild body shot.
Boy avoids the body shot from Sussman.
Boy has been working on his boxing with his coaches at DOG HOUSE!! in the buildup to the fight.
Sussman throws a lazy uppercut
and Boy counters with a thumping low kick.
Sussman misses with a body shot.
Sussman lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Boy circles away quickly and effectively.
Simon Sussman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A chopping leg kick lands by Boy.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Boy connects with a single shot there.

Sussman is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Boy circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Sussman to the canvas! Sussman doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Boy keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
