Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Fedor Mirinova and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jez moves in looking to clinch but Moran pushes him off.
Jez wants to clinch.
Moran half committed to a counter leg kick.
Jez gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Jez tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Jez with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Moran breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Moran could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Jez wants to clinch but Moran slips to the side
and Moran counters with a single leg into guard. Jez didn't expect that.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Moran is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Moran stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Jez wants to clinch.
Moran feinted there with a counter leg kick.
Jez tries to close the distance and clinch but Moran swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Jez wants to clinch up but Moran keeps it at a distance.
Jez looks to clinch
so Moran counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Moran scoring with some ground and pound.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Moran's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Moran passes into half guard under a barage of strikes.
Moran working over Jez with some ground and pound. Jez looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Moran is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Jez doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Moran.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Moran is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Jez is defending against the submission attempts here by Moran.
Moran blocks the strikes from Jez.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Moran has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Jez defend it? Moran steps over the head and cranks it - Jez is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Moran!
