Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Francisco Escobar!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Jonathan Paton and Franklyn Lucas.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tyson closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Escobar tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Tyson goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Escobar has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Tyson but great work by Escobar.

Escobar is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Tyson knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tyson is looking to reverse the position.
Tyson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Escobar on the ground.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Tyson is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Escobar off and has taken his back!

Tyson has got his arm under Escobar's chin working for the choke… has he got it? It looks pretty tight! Oh! Escobar has spun round into Tyson's guard beautifully! Well done that man!

Escobar in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Escobar postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Tyson is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Escobar, into his guard.

Tyson tries to free his leg and advance position but Escobar is retaining full guard.

Tyson missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Tyson slips nicely into half guard.
Tyson is looking to stall here but Escobar recovers full guard.

Escobar is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Escobar is trying to keep Tyson in close.

Tyson wants to pass the guard but Escobar is keeping the position.
Escobar keeping moving, preventing Tyson from controlling successfully.

Escobar has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Tyson doesn't defend quickly enough and Escobar has managed to lock this one up! Can Tyson escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Escobar on a fantastic submission victory.
