Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ryo Rossi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paulio Escobar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Paulio Escobar has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ryo Rossi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Paulio Escobar!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Michael Johnstone and Winston Alpacca.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rossi rushes Escobar and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Escobar tries to score a body lock takedown but Rossi shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Rossi has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Escobar regains guard immediately.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Escobar is on top in guard.

Escobar is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Escobar is looking to regain half guard here but Rossi keeps moving and retains side control.

Rossi thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Rossi is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

That was a close round but I would say that Ryo Rossi will probably get the nod.

Escobar shoots in for a takedown but Rossi shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Ryo Rossi.
