The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Franklin throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Franklin blocks a head kick by Bryngelson.
Bryngelson throws a sloppy head kick

and Franklin counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

Bryngelson is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Franklin scores with a couple of nice shots.

Franklin stands up out of the half guard.

Bryngelson throws a sloppy head kick and Franklin moves out of range easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Franklin is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Bryngelson's half guard.
Bryngelson pushes Franklin off but Franklin dives into side control.
Bryngelson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Franklin on the ground.

Franklin has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Bryngelson is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Franklin yanks on the arm and Bryngelson is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Franklin.
