Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Wiley Bright!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Petr Levkin!
The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Ivan Kurochkin and Sergei Dronov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Levkin misses with an attempted mid kick.
Bright throws a nice outside leg kick.
Levkin moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Levkin throws a combination that misses

and Bright counters by moving into the clinch.
Levkin has Bright pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Bright manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Bright pulls guard successfully.
Levkin keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Bright's head.
Levkin trying to control the position from guard on top but Bright is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bright had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Levkin defends it easily.
Bright working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Levkin.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bright avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Levkin with a flurry of punches that miss.
Levkin scoring with some ground and pound.


It looks like Wiley Bright has been cut.

Levkin avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Bright wants to improve his position but instead Levkin has moved into half guard.
Levkin seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Levkin thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Bright's head.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Levkin throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Levkin decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Bright tries a head kick but it misses.
Bright slips a straight right by Levkin.

Bright clinches.

Bright pulls Levkin into guard.
Levkin is looking to stand up but Bright won't let him.
Levkin pushes down on Bright's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Bright is staying active underneath Levkin, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Levkin is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Levkin is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Bright defends it well.
Levkin trying to control the action but Bright is working from the bottom.
Levkin sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Bright defending well though.
Levkin throwing shots but Bright is blocking nicely.

Levkin seems to be looking for submissions.

Levkin not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Levkin tries to pass the half guard into mount. Bright knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Levkin is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Bright is trying to stand up here but Levkin is controlling him well.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Levkin is nestled in close to Bright, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Levkin is trying for a kimura here. Bright looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Levkin wins by kimura!
