The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McDougal dives in for a single leg takedown but Vader sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
McDougal fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Vader throws a good cross that connects.
McDougal shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Darko Vader has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of William McDougal.
McDougal takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
McDougal avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Vader sets himself, and McDougal steps forward looking for the clinch! Vader avoids it this time.

and Vader counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps McDougal thinking.
Vader tests McDougal's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Vader lands with a nice body punch.
William McDougal seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nice straight punches there by Vader. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Vader.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
McDougal bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
