Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Nard Betker and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Naim gets a clinch.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Franks swings wildly with an uppercut but Naim uses good head movement to avoid it.
Naim tightens his grip and picks Franks up, before dumping him to the ground. Franks manages to land in guard.
Franks kicks Naim off and gets to his feet.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Franks is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Naim pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Franks has clasped his hands together around Naim's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Naim tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Franks presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
Naim tries to hold on but Franks pushes him away.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Naim is desperately trying to improve his position but Franks has a good base and remains in mount.
Franks could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Naim is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Naim keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
The referee warns Naim that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Naim can do anything to dispel that myth.

Naim wants to hold on but Franks pushes him away.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Franks landing punches.
Naim is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Franks landing strikes, looking to finish!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Naim tries to improve his position but Franks has taken his back! Franks has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Naim tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Franks pushes Naim away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
