Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Sheen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Number Twenty Four (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Number Twenty Four will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Number Twenty Four!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Dillan Fox and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Twenty Four takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Twenty Four has a takedown stuffed.

Sheen closes the distance and clinches.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Sheen is on top in guard.

Twenty Four tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Sheen working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Twenty Four's head.
Sheen cracks Twenty Four with a solid left hand.
Twenty Four has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Sheen has passed into side control.
Sheen knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Twenty Four on the ground.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Sheen lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.

Twenty Four manages to get back to half guard.
Twenty Four wants to get back to full guard.
Sheen takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Twenty Four has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Sheen is working away from the top position though.

Sheen seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Twenty Four for as long as he can get away with.
Twenty Four is looking for a sweep. Sheen is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Sheen connects with a nice short shot to Twenty Four's temple.

Twenty Four changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Sheen tries to avoid it but Twenty Four manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Sheen to the ground. Sheen escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

and Sheen counters with a stiff right hand.

Sheen darts in and clinches Twenty Four up against the cage.

Twenty Four bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Sheen's guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Twenty Four is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Number Twenty Four has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Bobby Sheen is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
