With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Aldo O Donno!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Sam Margolis and William Gold.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
O Donno comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
O Donno lands with a kick to the ribs.
O Donno scores with a nice strike.
O Donno fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Zavurov is out of range.

Zavurov has managed to clinch.

Zavurov escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
O Donno connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Zavurov fails with an attempt to clinch.
O Donno appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.

Shamil Zavurov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
O Donno shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Zavurov is looking to counter punch.
Zavurov tries to clinch up but O Donno circles away and keeps his distance.
Zavurov tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but O Donno paws at him with a jab and circles away.

and O Donno counters with a lovely straight right hand!
An inside leg kick lands from O Donno.

and O Donno counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Zavurov checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.

A slapping body kick lands there for O Donno.
Aldo O Donno is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Zavurov takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Zavurov is breathing heavily.
O Donno lands a leg kick that knocks Zavurov off balance momentarily.

O Donno throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
O Donno defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Zavurov.
A nice side step and O Donno releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Zavurov doesn't manage to clinch there - O Donno circles away.

Zavurov steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from O Donno. That one must have hurt.
O Donno throws a head kick that half lands.
O Donno looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.

O Donno lands with a kick to the ribs.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

O Donno drops Zavurov with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Zavurov looks back up at him and smiles so O Donno waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Oh Zavurov is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Zavurov will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body.
O Donno throws a pinpoint strike between Zavurov's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Zavurov crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and O Donno scores a great knockout victory!
