The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pereira misses with a low kick.
Pereira goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Munster wants to counter with a clinch but Pereira pushes him away.
Nice uppercut lands for Pereira. That snapped Munster's head back.
A looping hook to the body misses from Pereira. Munster does a little dance to reset his feet.
Munster pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Munster blocks the body kick.
Munster takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Pereira avoids the head kick by Munster.
Pereira scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Pereira keeps the fight on the outside.
Pereira is looking to chop away at Munster's legs.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Munster looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it.

Munster uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Pereira.

Pereira throws a shot from downtown. Munster moves away and avoids it.

Munster is looking for the big counter here.

Pereira closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Munster quickly recovers to half guard.
Munster is trying to stand.
Pereira thows a huge punch but Munster dodges it nicely.
Munster is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Pereira not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Pereira drops an elbow to the side of Munster's head.
Munster is trying to get back to full guard.
Pereira tries to pass to full mount but Munster defends it.

Munster is looking for a sweep. Pereira is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Pereira bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Pereira throws a jab but it's blocked by Munster.

Munster blocks a head kick by Pereira.
Pereira connects with a right hand. Munster shakes it off.
Pereira Throws a clean left jab. Pereira Twirls his body and connects with a Spinning Back Fist that connects flush with Munster's chin! Munster crumbles to the ground and Pereira follows up with some unanswered strikes. It's all over!! Nice standup skills displayed by Pereira!
