And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Darius Henderson and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mendoza jabs Bangun right on the nose. Bangun blinks but takes it well.
Mendoza lands with a shot to the body.
Mendoza's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Mendoza duly obliges.
Bangun dodges the punch combination from Mendoza.
Bangun drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Mendoza defends it well.
Mendoza circles away from the clinch attempt
and Mendoza counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Nice takedown defense from Mendoza. No joy for Bangun on that attempt.
Mendoza throws a right and a left that both miss.
Mendoza connects with a jab.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Bangun shoots in looking for a takedown. Mendoza tries to sprawl out of it but Bangun keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Mendoza manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Nice uppercut there from Mendoza.

Mendoza cracks Bangun with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Bangun has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Mendoza avoids the body shot from Bangun.
Bangun fails with the takedown
and Mendoza counters with a nice right hand that sends Bangun toppling to the canvas! Bangun scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Mendoza finish him?!

It looks like Advent Bangun has been cut.
We've been told by Mendoza's head coaches at The Iron Works $800 Elite Coaches that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Edgar Mendoza has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Advent Bangun.
Bangun shoots in for a double leg but Mendoza sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Bangun is still on wobbly legs! Can Mendoza finish him?

Bangun walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Bangun limp body while Mendoza jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!
