The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Melkonyan throws a right and a left that both miss.
Bankowski is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Some wild striking there from Melkonyan.
Melkonyan has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
A decent looking cross lands there for Melkonyan.

Bankowski shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Melkonyan's guard.

Melkonyan is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Bankowski is aware though and is defending well.

Melkonyan working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bankowski doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Melkonyan is tightening it up a little... Bankowski has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight!
