The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Alec Ball and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rey fails to land the takedown.
McGee lands a left and a right that send Rey crashing to the mat, dazed. McGee thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
It looks like Angel Rey has been cut.
McGee feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Rey's calf.
McGee connects with an inside leg kick.
McGee lands a big head kick that sends Rey tumbling to the mat! McGee takes a step backwards and waves Rey back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Rey is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Nice takedown defense from McGee. No joy for Rey on that attempt.
McGee measures up his opponent and throws a superman punch that connects to the jaw! Down goes Rey! The ref steps in, and that's the ball game folks!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Superman Punch). Dave McGee!
After winning the bout, Dave McGee thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
