The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shan fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Shan is defended easily by Bbbbb.
Bbbbb tries to sprawl but Shan drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Shan stops Bbbbb from getting back to his feet.
Shan knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bbbbb on the ground.

Bbbbb trying to control but Shan postures up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The fighters are battling for position here. Bbbbb manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Shan has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Shan stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Bbbbb has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Shan manages to get his head free but now Bbbbb has transitioned to an armbar! Shan grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Bbbbb! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
