The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Mahmorluka is defended easily by Markov.
Markov feints the counter takedown.
Sloppy strikes from Mahmorluka. Those never looked like landing.
Markov looks for the body kick but Mahmorluka saw that one coming.
Mahmorluka looks to clinch
and Markov counters with a good, hard body kick but Mahmorluka shrugs it off.
Mahmorluka is breathing heavily.
Markov misses with a double jab.
Mahmorluka avoids the head kick by Markov.
Markov lands a big head kick that sends Mahmorluka tumbling to the mat! Markov takes a step backwards and waves Mahmorluka back to his feet - he wants the finish!
It looks like Misho Mahmorluka has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Markov slips a jab and a cross from Mahmorluka.
Mahmorluka throws a right hand that Markov ducks under and follows up with a left that Markov also avoids with ease.
Mahmorluka throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Markov's waist but Markov gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Mahmorluka off to one side.
Markov tries to bum rush Mahmorluka with a series of wild strikes but Mahmorluka uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Some wild striking there from Markov.
Mahmorluka throws a hook but Markov blocks it.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Mahmorluka takes a swing at Markov's ribcage but misses.
A chopping leg kick lands by Markov.
Markov tries to bum rush Mahmorluka with a series of wild strikes but Mahmorluka uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
A quick step to the side and Mahmorluka tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Markov throws a right and a left that Mahmorluka avoids nicely.
Mahmorluka moves in looking to clinch but Markov pushes him off.
