Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between William Munney (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hank Aaron (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, William Munney!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Hank Aaron!
The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Dirk Anderson and David Hoff.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aaron swats away the attempt to clinch by Munney.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Aaron! But no joy.
Munney moves in looking to clinch but Aaron pushes him off.
Aaron only half commits to the counter leg kick.
A solid body kick from Munney.
Aaron throws a body shot but no joy.
Munney shoots in and drives through. Aaron sprawls well.

Munney tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Aaron defends well and Munney ends up having to push Aaron into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Munney shoots in for a takedown but Aaron shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Munney tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Aaron defends well and Munney ends up having to push Aaron into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Munney shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Aaron but Aaron pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Munney ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Munney tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Aaron paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Aaron has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight.
Aaron misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Munney.
A quick step to the side and Munney tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Munney fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

and Munney counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Munney manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Aaron decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Munney pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Munney misses with a double jab.
Munney moves out of range of the leg kick from Aaron.
Munney throws a big counter combination but Aaron scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Aaron fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Munney manages to avoid it.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Munney is defended easily by Aaron.

Aaron cracks Munney with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Munney looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Aaron finish him?
Aaron will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Aaron attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.

Munney clinches up with Aaron and pushes him back against the cage.
A frustrated look appears on Aaron's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Aaron is trying to push Munney away but Munney has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Munney has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Aaron is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Aaron is trying to force a seperation but Munney has the dominant position.

Aaron tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Munney's elbow.
Aaron wants to break free but Munney has control.
Aaron working hard to break the clinch.

Munney pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Aaron connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Aaron throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
William Munney seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Munney moves into the clinch.
Aaron is trying to break the clinch but Munney is controlling him.
Aaron is trying to break free.
Munney is struggling to control the position.

Aaron escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Munney checks a leg kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Hank Aaron dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Munney tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Munney has his takedown stuffed
and Aaron counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Aaron displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Munney.
It seemed like Aaron was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Aaron lands a head shot.

Munney pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Aaron back to the cage. Munney follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Munney shoots in looking for a takedown. Aaron tries to sprawl out of it but Munney keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Aaron manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Aaron throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Munney appears to be looking for a big counter.
Munney changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Aaron tries to avoid it but Munney manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Aaron to the ground. Aaron escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Aaron pivots, looking for a leg kick but Munney is out of range and Aaron settles back down.
Munney shoots in for a takedown but Aaron shows good takedown defense.

Munney shoots in for a double leg but Aaron sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Aaron lands a big right hook! Munney looks hurt but is still standing! Aaron lands a left jab and another right hook! This time Munney falls down and Aaron dives in with a huge hammer fist! Munney's eyes roll back! The referee calls for the bell and Aaron runs up the cage to celebrate with his fans!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:13 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Hank Aaron!
After winning the bout, Hank Aaron thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
