Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Sage Westcutt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Fox Mulder!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mulder tries to clinch up.
Westcutt half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Mulder wants to clinch.
Westcutt appears to be looking for a big counter.

Mulder closes the distance and pushes Westcutt back into the cage.
Mulder is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Westcutt wants to get back to striking at distance but Mulder won't allow it.

Mulder has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Westcutt is working away from the top position though.

Westcutt slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Mulder can do anything to dispel that myth.

Westcutt is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Mulder knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Mulder tries to buck Westcutt off but Westcutt is having none of it.
Mulder can't do much from the bottom here.
Mulder really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Westcutt. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Westcutt is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Mulder knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Mulder tries to buck Westcutt off but Westcutt is having none of it.

Westcutt drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Mulder gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Westcutt is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Mulder lands a good knee to the midsection. Westcutt won't want to take too many of those.

Mulder lands a nice elbow.
Oh Westcutt is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Mulder creates some distance and fires off a vicious elbow that drops Westcutt! He pounces and finishes the fight with more strikes! Nice KO for Mulder.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:43 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Fox Mulder!
During a confident post fight interview, Fox Mulder thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
