And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Randolph Turpin!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khan throws a push kick but Turpin slaps the foot to one side.

and Khan counters with a three punch combo that has Turpin backing up. Turpin nods at Khan to acknowledge the strikes.
Turpin swings away with a body shot that misses
and Khan counters with a right hand to the body.

Turpin will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Turpin. Khan shrugs it off though.
Randolph Turpin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Turpin shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Khan eats them both and turns towards Turpin to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Khan takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Turpin stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

A close round but Randolph Turpin will probably get the nod.
That's time! Khan's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Khan throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Turpin displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Khan throws out the jab.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Turpin, right into the meat.

Well Turpin has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
