Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marcelo George (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Warren Savage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Warren Savage has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Warren Savage!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, George Francis and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Savage looks to land a combination but George avoids it well.
Savage pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces George back to the cage. Savage follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.


It looks like Marcelo George has been cut.

Savage feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now George is on top in guard.

Savage shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Savage was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Savage goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, George rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Savage's guard! Nice work there by George!

Warren Savage seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Savage is pressed up against the cage. George has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Savage down to the mat. Savage avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

As George backs off Savage throws a huge counter combo but George manages to avoid it all.

I would just about give that final round to Warren Savage.
I've got Savage winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Warren Savage spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
