The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hiller wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Perkins shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Hiller sprawls well. Hiller wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Perkins gets slowly back to his feet.
Hiller takes a swing at Perkins's ribcage but misses.
Perkins changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
A clash of legs there as Perkins blocks the low kick.
Perkins is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
