PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Earle Bradley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Napoleon Dynamite (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dynamite has chosen Napoleon Dynamite (Remix) as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Earle Bradley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Napoleon Dynamite!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Tiny Johnson and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Bradley. No joy for Dynamite on that attempt.
As Dynamite looks to move away, Bradley throws a big counter combo bu Dynamite just gets out of the way.

Bradley dives in and scores a takedown into Dynamite's guard.
Dynamite is adopting a defensive guard.

Dynamite working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bradley doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bradley manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Bradley will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Dynamite has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bradley can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dynamite utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Dynamite seems to be working for a kimura but Bradley defends the submission attempt.
Bradley is trying to stand back up but Dynamite is controlling him

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Bradley is staying active underneath Dynamite, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Bradley pushes Dynamite off looking to stand but Dynamite dives back in and keeps control.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Dynamite is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Bradley defends it well.

Bradley trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

Dynamite thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Dynamite is looking to take a break and control but Bradley is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Dynamite is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Bradley has escaped the position, nice work there.

Dynamite is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Bradley is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Bradley wants to get back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Dynamite tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Dynamite has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Napoleon Dynamite dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

That was a close second round but I would say that Earle Bradley will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
