The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leon shoots in but Leonardo avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Leon could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Leon.
A little jabbing left from Leonardo on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

and Leonardo counters with a stiff right hand.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jackson Leon. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and Leonardo counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Leonardo is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Leon needs to keep his hands up - Leonardo had a free shot at his head there.

Jovito Leonardo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Leonardo lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Leon at a distance.
Leonardo connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Leonardo circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Leon tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Leonardo wins by KO!
