Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Eli Rush (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dino Baggio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dino Baggio has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Eli Rush's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Eli Rush!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dino Baggio!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Wagner Zegers and Daniel Blasius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baggio tries to clinch there but Rush circles away.
Rush half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Rush misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Baggio tries to clinch but Rush moves away
and Rush counters with an outside leg kick.
Dino Baggio seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Baggio drives through with a takedown into Rush's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Rush is looking for a triangle but Baggio pushes his legs off easily.
Baggio trying to control the position from guard on top but Rush is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Baggio tries to free his leg and advance position but Rush is retaining full guard.
Baggio distracts Rush with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Rush keeping moving, preventing Baggio from controlling successfully.

Rush is trying to keep Baggio in close.

Baggio pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Rush is keeping the position for now.
Baggio wants to stand but Rush is controlling his posture from full guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Rush can't keep his opponent in guard - Baggio advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Baggio is stalling here. Rush is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Baggio seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Rush has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
Baggio is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Baggio is trying to control Rush's posture but Rush avoids it.
Rush really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

A control attempt from Baggio but he's now mounted!
Rush will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Rush is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Baggio can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Baggio tries to hold on but Rush pushes him away.
Rush lands a couple of good shots and Baggio has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
Rush lands with a big left hand that may well have hurt his opponent. Can Baggio hold on?!
Rush throws a series of strikes and Baggio wriggles onto his back, so he's now mounted. He's in real trouble here.

Baggio manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Rush tries to stand but can't do so whilst Baggio controls his leg.
Rush throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Baggio is looking for a sweep. Rush is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Baggio regains full guard. Nicely done.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Eli Rush will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.



Baggio shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Baggio drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Rush dives on top into guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Baggio is looking to stand up but Rush isn't so interested in that idea.
Rush postures up.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Baggio blocks a head kick by Rush.
Rush shoots in but no luck this time.
Baggio pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Rush clinches.
Rush keeps control of Baggio as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Rush pulls guard.
Baggio with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Baggio advances position into side control!

Baggio is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Rush is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Baggio wants to control but Rush is keeping him busy.
Baggio has knee on belly and moves into mount.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Baggio fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Baggio looking to finish Rush with some ground and pound. This is bad for Rush!


Rush is rocked!
Baggio wants to control the pace but Rush is squirming around nicely.
Oh Rush is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Baggio postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Rush in real trouble here! The ref calls for Rush to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:51 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dino Baggio!
