Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Greg Talley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Vitnae Chumurunga!
The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Sergei Dronov and Vladimir Khabensky.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Chumurunga gets caught flat footed, as Talley shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Talley stands and steps away. Chumurunga gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Talley moves into the clinch successfully.

Chumurunga has clasped his hands together around Talley's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.

Chumurunga is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Talley has escaped the position, nice work there.
Talley is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Chumurunga is controlling him well.

Talley tries for a takedown but Chumurunga sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Chumurunga ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Chumurunga no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Talley shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Chumurunga pinned against the cage. Chumurunga gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Talley tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Chumurunga defends well and Talley ends up having to push Chumurunga into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Vitnae Chumurunga showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Chumurunga drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Talley manages to escape and get back to his feet.

Chumurunga shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Chumurunga was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Chumurunga looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Talley with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Talley wants to get back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Talley is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Talley is looking to control Chumurunga's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Talley avoid being mounted?
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Chumurunga is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Talley defends it well.
Chumurunga is figuring out what he wants to do next.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Chumurunga shoots in and gets a takedown into Talley's guard.
Chumurunga stops Talley from standing up.

Talley escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Chumurunga gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Talley will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Talley wants to get back to his feet but Chumurunga is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

I would just about give that final round to Vitnae Chumurunga.
Well Chumurunga has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
