Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Danny Charles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mikko Haapalainen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Charles comes into the arena with Have Heart - Armed With A Mind blaring out of the sound system. Haapalainen comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Lentävä Kalakukko kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Charles steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Haapalainen. That one must have hurt.

Haapalainen fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Charles sprawls well initially but Haapalainen persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Charles is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Haapalainen has latched onto it... Big trouble! Haapalainen pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Charles is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Haapalainen!
