Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Olav Haakonsson!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Chris Edwards and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gurung gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Haakonsson jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Gurung walks away with a smile on his face. Haakonsson gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Gurung forces Haakonsson back against the cage and clinches.
Gurung pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Haakonsson wants to clinch up but Gurung keeps it at a distance.
Gurung throws a quick counter head kick but Haakonsson was just out of range.
Gurung dives in and grabs Haakonsson's left leg, looking for a takedown. Haakonsson pushes down on Gurung's head and hops out.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Haakonsson.
Haakonsson goes for a double leg but Gurung avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Gurung continues to drive forward.
Gurung attempts a counter takedown but Haakonsson avoids it well and moves away.
Chimi Gurung has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Olav Haakonsson.
Gurung shoots in and drives through. Haakonsson sprawls well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Haakonsson connects with a high kick.
Gurung feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Gurung is looking to stand up but Haakonsson won't let him.

Gurung looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Gurung is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Haakonsson has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Gurung is looking to defend but Haakonsson has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Gurung! Haakonsson pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Gurung taps out and this one is all over!
