The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vasara throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Vasara bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Vasara lands an overhand right.
Joe has his takedown stuffed
and Vasara connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Vasara scores with a nice head shot.
Vasara connects with a jab.
Vasara displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Joe throws out the jab.
Vasara lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Vasara slips a jab from Joe.
Vasara was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Sloppy strikes from Joe. Those never looked like landing.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Joe scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Vasara smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Vasara lands with an uppercut that bounces Joe off the cage and back into range.
Average Joe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vasara throws a good cross that connects.
Vasara scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Nice shot lands for Vasara.
Joe takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Joe paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

It looks like Iso Vasara has been cut.

Joe looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Vasara prevents a body shot from Joe.
