The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Anus takes the fight into the clinch.
Anus throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Freire blocks it with crossed arms.
Anus is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Freire is defending well for now.
Anus works on Freire's body with a couple of short punches.
Anus slowing the pace effectively.

Freire manages to break the clinch.
Anus throws a nice head kick!
Anus turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

and Anus counters with a series of strikes. Freire will be more careful next time no doubt.

Freire is rocked!

Anus has Freire up against the cage in a clinch.
Freire is still on wobbly legs! Can Anus finish him?

Freire escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Anus has the Thai clinch. He lands a big knee to the head that stumbles Freire - he's in trouble! Another big knee to the head from Anus, and another! Freire is out on his feet - the ref jumps in to save him and ends the fight!

Mike Anus decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
