Mahrud shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Ribiero is trying to defend but Mahrud finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Mahrud is looking to stall here but Ribiero recovers full guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ribiero is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Mahrud rolls with it to try and escape but Ribiero cranks on the arm and Mahrud is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

After the fight, Andre Ribiero was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
