The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cian Cartwright seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Millennium turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Cartwright walks forward, straight into a front kick from Millennium.
A big left from Cartwright misses.
A left lands for Millennium.
Cartwright throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Millennium bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Millennium goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Cartwright has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Millennium but great work by Cartwright.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Millennium tries to bench press Cartwright off him but Cartwright keeps the position.

Cartwright has hold of Millennium's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Millennium tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Cartwright cranks the arm and Millennium screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Millennium, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
