The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnstown throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Stephensson was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
Stephensson goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

It looks like Mack Johnstown has been cut.
Johnstown tries a head kick but it misses.
Stephensson bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Johnstown's head backwards.
Johnstown checks a low kick from Stephensson.
Stephensson looks to land a body kick but Johnstown moved away.
Johnstown has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Den of Tears (22 coaches, $900 fee) in the buildup to the fight.

Johnstown throws a counter high kick but Stephensson was just alert enough to avoid it.
Stephensson has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Johnstown.
Johnstown throws a sloppy head kick and Stephensson moves out of range easily.
Mack Johnstown seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Johnstown wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.

Stephensson feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Johnstown sprawling to the canvas! Johnstown rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Stephensson finish him?!
Oh Johnstown is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
