Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jon Snow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vasily Avsketij (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vasily Avsketij told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jon Snow!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Vasily Avsketij!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Chad Campbell and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Avsketij misses with a two punch combination.
Snow misses with a body kick.
A cross from Avsketij lands.
Avsketij feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Snows jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Snow walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Avsketij lands with a nice combination. Snow backs away looking to recover.
It looks like Jon Snow has been cut.
Avsketij moves out of range of the body kick.
Avsketij jabs at Snow's body.
Snow lands with a kick to the ribs.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Avsketij throws a body shot but no joy.
Avsketij lands an overhand right.
Snow avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Snow throws a hook but Avsketij avoids it easily.
A punch combination from Avsketij misses.
Avsketij rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Snow moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Avsketij connects with a right hand. Snow shakes it off.
Avsketij lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Avsketij takes a swing at Snow's ribcage but misses.
Avsketij just misses with a punch to the body.
Snow takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
A cross from Avsketij lands.
Avsketij jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Snow looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit.
Avsketij lands a jab to Snow's midsection.
Snow is looking to land body kicks.
Avsketij looks like he wants to counter punch here.
A punch lands to the side of Snow 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Snow is rocked!
Snow with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Avsketij to score with a decent uppercut.
Oh Snow is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Avsketij drops Snow with a straight right hand, right on the button! Avsketij follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Vasily Avsketij!
As Vasily Avsketij got his breath back, he grabbed the microphone and managed to blurt out the following: LOSER!!! :P'.
