Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Bruce Wayne!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Chris Severn!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Phil Schofield and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Severn lands a leg kick that knocks Wayne off balance momentarily.
Severn has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Wayne is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Wayne scores with a jab to the body.
Severn checks a leg kick.
Wayne chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Severn can pounce on him.
Wayne connects with a single shot there.
Nice cross by Severn.

Severn closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Wayne quickly recovers to half guard.

Severn is thwarting Wayne's attempts to control the position.
Wayne avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Severn.

Severn throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Wayne to regain full guard.
Wayne not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Severn throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Severn throws a big right hand that misses.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Wayne working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Severn.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Severn is trying to pull guard but Wayne turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Wayne blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
I was talking to Wayne's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Severn manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Severn not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Wayne not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Wayne tries to free his leg and advance position but Severn is retaining full guard.
Severn seems keen to control Wayne's posture.
Wayne wants to control from the top but Severn keeps moving.
Wayne controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Severn swings for the body but Wayne moves out of range.
Wayne lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
A slapping body kick lands there for Severn.
Severn thows a body kick. Wayne tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Severn steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Wayne.
Severn gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Severn thuds a left hand into Wayne's body.
Wayne takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Severn swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Wayne connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Severn tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Wayne was well out of range. Poor timing from Severn.
A little feinted left hand from Wayne on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Wayne keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Severn is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Wayne rather than just go for the knockout.
Severn throws a head kick but Wayne moves out of range.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Severn throws a leg kick
and Wayne counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Chris Severn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wayne lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Severn throws a leg kick but Wayne sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Severn lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Wayne at a distance.
Nice body punch from Severn.
Severn misses with an attempted mid kick.
Severn lands with a good body shot.
Severn cracks Wayne with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Severn throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Severn throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Severn slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Severn defending well as Wayne loads up on a big left hand.
Severn raises up his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Wayne uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Severn.
Severn tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Wayne has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Wayne there as he acknowledges the shot.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Severn connects with a nice looking jab.
Bruce Wayne is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Wayne closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.


Wayne is rocked!
Wayne fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Severn has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Chris Severn dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


A swing and a miss from Wayne.
Oh Wayne is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Severn ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Wayne's jaw. Wayne's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Severn does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:09 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Chris Severn!
Chris Severn thanked the fans post fight for their support.
In defeat, Bruce Wayne stepped up to the mic, saying 'What a load of horse shit'.
